Start with the product
A display stand starts with the products it will hold. Packaging width, depth and height, plus the number of products placed side by side, are useful for the first layout. If one unit will carry several products, consider the largest and smallest packs together. This helps identify unused space and positions that are difficult to reach.
Where will the stand go?
Checkout areas, aisle edges and wall positions have different requirements. Think beyond the outer dimensions: allow for customers reaching products, staff restocking shelves and cleaning the unit. If it must be moved, discuss castors or a dismantlable structure at the beginning.
Branding and finish
Logo panels, price holders, colours and finishes affect fabrication details. Sharing existing brand files helps the branding follow the supplied artwork. A feature that looks attractive in a drawing should also be practical to clean and reproduce.
Samples and batch production
For multiple units, checking a sample helps settle shelf spacing and handling details. Approved dimensions, connections and surface expectations can then be recorded. Delivery and packaging should be discussed at this stage too.
Before requesting a quote
Prepare product photographs and dimensions, approximate quantity, a photograph of the installation area and any reference design. Share these with ERSA METAL to discuss the fabrication scope and application options.
